Scope of Work

1.Supply work area protections consisting of 6-mil polyethylene sheeting sealed with duct tape, as necessary to properly segregate, isolate and protect the site during the performance of the lead abatement operations.

Sarasota’s Historic 1926 Courthouse

Abatement and Demolition Services (ADS) uses a hand scraper to remove layers of built-up exterior coating of 91-year-old Sarasota County’s historic courthouse. Restoration of the courthouse begun in 2007, has so far included the roof and tower. Now work has begun restoring ironwork, stripping old paint and repainting the exterior.

In 1984, the courthouse was listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
