Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), refers to the air quality within and around buildings, especially as it affects the health and well being of occupants. Toxins in the atmosphere of a “sick building” are often undetectable, but it has been proven that, in addition to diminished job performance, an innumerable list of ailments ranging from allergy symptoms, headaches, dizziness and fatigue, to serious respiratory and heart disease, and even certain cancers, can be linked to poor IAQ.

Numerous factors must be considered when determining the source of contaminants. ADS Services performs a comprehensive analysis of the building; its site and construction, as well as its surrounding environment. The building’s HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) system will be thoroughly examined. In addition, air and surface samples will be collected and analyzed, and interviews will be conducted with building occupants and maintenance/engineering staff to determine the types of contaminates present, and the issues that are causing this condition.

Our goal at ADS is to provide a clear and concise analysis of the existing condition, devise a comprehensive remediation plan using all available technology and resources, and ultimately, to correct problems in the most timely and cost effective manner possible.
